Technicolor Thursday!

Hello! Hello! Hello!
We have a lot up our sleeves so keep coming back everyday!
Before I go on, Summer has a post about the new releases.

This lovely stamped image is called Sunshine and Apples and she was colored with Copic Sketch markers. Butterflies are MS punch outs. Sky was sponged using post it notes and distress inks. White corner frames were embossed using CB folder and edges were inked with a gold pen. Added flowers for a romantic touch. This card is 5 1/2" x 7".

Ever since I have seen this image I have imagined her walking on a very summery garden. I do not have a garden scene stamp, so I drew and colored the scene with copic markers and tried to color it as sunny as I could. Did some doodling on her umbreall as well. Hopefully, this card will inspire you to create your own scene cards. There is no wrong or right way to do it - just use your imagination. :)
These stamps are wonderful to make scene cards with.
They are very sweet, nostalgic (to me anyway) and just plain gorgeous!!!

We love to hear your feedback or comments.
I would encourage you to comment daily - seriously, it'll be worth it! *wink*

My easy question is:
What is you favorite coloring medium
or what would you use to color these images?

Be sure to come back for tomorrow's new post. You don't want to miss it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

  9. I am just loving this line of stamps. I would color her with my Lyras and Mineral Spirits as they tend to be a bit softer and she would look so delicate. How gorgeous is she.

  19. holy toledo, batman, this is stunning! I was looking for the name of the new stamp, too!

I use inks and my watercolor brushes for all of my coloring. sometimes my markers, but not too often anymore. I just love the look of the watercolors. don't have any of the copics that are so popular. but that is okay, as I am perfectly content with what I do have! :)
