Day 5 of our Advent calendar.....

WOW I cannot believe we are at Day 5 already! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I have created a cd/songbook holder for my niece. Christmas songs have a special place in my memory!! When we were little we would go to midnight mass every Christmas Eve. The drive home was a good 30 minutes so we would all sing Christmas Carols the whole way home! We would have so much fun. It was really a way to keep us awake because when we would get home we would open our presents as Santa would always come while we were at Church.

Right now on to my card/holder. I have used a portion of Belle's Carols for the front.I don't know about you but I just adore this image! It is so versatile! You can use her along or the animals alone as well like Nikki did in this post.
I added glitter everywhere again! LOL I can't get enough of the stuff this Christmas!
Here is a shot of the inside. Sorry for the wonky photo but I couldn't get good lighting for nothing!!

A few of our favorite carols were of course Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and Mary's Boy Child. We would love to hear what your favorite Christmas carol is!!!
Thanks again so much for stopping by and I hope each and everyone of you are having a lovely holiday season!!

Kathy

  1. Hello! I think I drove my parents nuts with singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer when I was a youngster! LOL! I'd sing that over and over ... that was my favorite, and Jingle Bells came in second with me. :) My parents were good sports (but probably rolling their eyes after singing it with me for the 100th time behind my back). LOL! And now ... all grown up ... my favorite is O Holy Night. :)
