Advent Day #3: A Tutorial

Welcome to day three of our annual advent calendar!! Today I've got a tutorial for you! I am someone who loves to create little gifts and favors for just about every season and occasion of the year but sometimes find it too time consuming to create something with alot of steps to make.
What I've made today is a really easy bag... I had no name for it except to call it a 12x12 bag!!

Let me show you how to create one. First, the supplies you need are a scorer, cutter, scissors, tape, any 12x12 cardstock and embellishments.

First, you will score one side of your cardstock at 3", and 9".
Then turn your cardstock to score the other side at 4 1/2", and 8 1/2".
You will cut the cardstock as shown below.

Get some strong tape out, and piece the box together.

Now you can start to embellish your box as desired.

Here's the completed box!! The image I have used is called Catch a Flake from the latest Snowbabies Collection!! I have added some punched snowflakes to make it look as if she is really catching snowflakes with her tongue.
I hope that you have found this a helpful and easy to follow tutorial. Would love to know and see if you will create one!! Thanks for your visit today and have a great day!!

Yesterday's (randomly drawn) winner of the surprise goodie bag is :
