Day 22 is now Open!

Welcome to Day 22 of our Advent Event here at Belles n Whistles! Today's challenge for me was to make a snowflake shaped card. I used my Cricut to cut the shapes and added some silver glass glitter and a snowflake ornament before adding my sweet little Snowbaby - Catch a Flake.

It's supposed to snow here on Christmas - how about where you live? Will you have a white Christmas?

I bet you would like to know who our winner from yesterday's post is.......

Congratulations to

Kim Gruetzmacher

  1. Wonderful card! I love the layered snowflake effect. I live in Maryland, USA. We're due for snow on Christmas Day. As long as someone else shovels it, I wouldn't mind a lot so that we didn't have to work on Monday! LOL.

  17. Oh, I love the shaped snowflake. So pretty.

We tend to have a green, wet Christmas here. We've had a "White Christmas" only 4 times in my lifetime. One of those times, it flurried for only 20 minutes. We paused to watch and were so excited. Then it turned back to rain and we carried on.

  23. I love this little cutie, and the colours you used are very nice. So sparkly and glittery. I hope we are having more snow for Christmas, just even a little bit as it is so magic to open your presents and drink a cup of cocoa while watching the snow falling.

We'll indeed have a white Christmas this year, if the weather doesn't change from -15*C to +0 or more. I love this kind of weather! :)

  37. Lovely snowflake card. I had a record high here yesterday so the air conditioning was on and we were sweating. Christmas is supposed to be quite warm this year so I doubt we will have any snow.

  38. This is gorgeous! Love the snowflake! This morning I woke up to no snow. It's been spitting snow all day and we have probably have got about an inch on the ground now. Definitely not normal for where I live (Winterport, Maine).

  39. That's a great card. I must say though that I'm very happy to see the snow melting away here in Southern England. Ever since the snowfall on Saturday morning it's been travel chaos; my parents in law almost didn't make it to Heathrow tonight, but now they're here and I've just finished work. Let Christmas begin!
