Door 8 is open - Spotlight & a Tune!

Welcome to the 8th day of Advent everyone! I hope you all are having a great holiday season thus far!

I'm sitting here listening to some of the wonderful sounds of Christmas...Christmas music played over the radio! The song playing right now is, "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!"....how appropriate! One, because I'm wishing it would snow here(in Hawai'i)...that would be really nice! And two, because the wonderful card being spot-lighted today is fitting of the season (and the song)!

This gorgeously colored and embellished card is SUCH a delight! The beautiful snowflakes with rhinestone centers, the great green accent frame and the gorgeous silky red bow are sooooo very holiday, the perfect accents to this card.

Kerri Michaud....thanks so much for adding this wonderful card to our Belles 'n Whistles Gallery! Please contact me. I'd like to send you a little Advent Goody Bag for having your card spot-lighted today!

What is your favorite Christmas song? Leave that in your comment for today's posting please, I'm curious to know! =) Mine? Hmmm....that's tough! Maybe Sleigh Ride. Or Jingle Bell Rock. Or Marshmallow World. Or maybe The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting...).

I'm listening to "Hawaiian Santa" by the Brothers Cazimero right now--an island-style Christmas tune...listen to this favorite song, below! (a goofy embed, but press the green arrow-button. That should play it for you!)

What's YOUR favorite?!

  26. I live in MD and they're calling for tons of snow again this year. I wish I could send it to you!!! LOL.

I don't really have a fave Christmas song. I am a scrooge. I start out the season loving them all, but by the end of the holiday, I'm ready to throw any radio that happens to play one. I admit that I tend to like the more upbeat ones, though, like Jingle Bell Rock. Although after watching Glee last night, their version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" might have to hit the top of my list!

It's so funny that if you're somewhere warm, you wish for snow for Christmas, and if you're in the north here, you wish for a tropical vacation! LOL
