Sledding Fun!

Hi girls! Today, I have a card I made using a stamp from the NEW Snowbabies Collection at Belles 'n Whistles! Isn't she the cutest? I just love her. She looks like she is having so much fun! I remember when I was a kid growing up on a farm in North Dakota how much fun us kids had playing in the snow. We always had a fire going, so when we came inside, my mom usually had lunch ready for us and we would warm up by the fire. It is such a wonderful memory.
On my card, I have used papers that I bought last year and never got around to using. They are very pretty, I think. I also used some paper snowflakes, crystals and ribbon. The snow is flower soft snow and the image was colored with my Copics and Prismas. I hope you have a warm, snuggly day! ;)

I adore this cute little couple. The image is coloured with distress ink, reinkers. I have used two different patternpapers and decorated my card with flowers and a lace.

This weekend I am going to make christmascards with stamps from the Snowbaby collection. You can order the new stamps here

A special birthday card

Today is the birthday of a much loved friend of mine - but she lives thousands of miles away from me in the States. So I thought I´d make her not just a normal card but I thought of a way of also sending her a birthday cake. And so I came up with this idea....

For sure you all have seen the tealight cards before. I did some changes to the measurements so one of those little cheesecakes fit in the box. I also added a little loop where put in a birthday candle. I think it is a cute idea for a special birthday treat.

I used the table and gift from the so named stamp set and also the cupcake from the Cupcake, Roses and Tea set from the Changeabelles Collection.

I also made a matching tag to be put in the pocket of the bag. For the saying I used a Stampin´Up stamp that says "Happy birthday" and underneath "call when it´s time for cake"...

At the end of my post I want to remind you all of our fabulous new release blog hop we´re having tomorrow - and that you really don´t want to miss! I got some sneaks at what the others created and I am blown away - as usual. And there will also be a chance to win something again... So make sure you hop along with us!

A Boy and His Friend

Hi everyone! Today, I have a card to show you that I made with one of the new Changabelles stamps! I am just so glad there was a boy in this set because I think he is so cute! I have colored him with Copics and Prisma Pencils. Embellishments are ribbon, a charm, silver pearls, and shells. The papers are by Basic Grey. These images are so much fun to color. They just come to life and are so pretty.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Oh Christmas Tree...

Hi all and happy Thursday to you! Isn't  this cute little guy adorable? The stamps name is 'Wheeling By' fo.om the Changeabelles collection.  I love him and he reminds me of the kids down here in Florida at Christmas time....they too walk around with shorts! ;-) So I thought why not put the little tree from the Holidays set onto his cart! You'll find all the stamps HERE.

The DP is from Bo Bunny. The stars are cut out using a Spellbinders die and the snowflakes are made with a Cuttlebug die. I also did some stitching with my machine on the paper layers. I added X-mas Red Stickles to the stars and Star Dust around the image and sentiment (Martha Stewart). There is also 3D Paper Glaze added to the Christmas balls on the little tree.

I colored the image with my Copic markers.

Don't forget there are still a few days left to enter our challenge on our new challenge blog HERE! We would love to see your creations and you'll have the chance on winning a fantastic price (which includes san awesome six (yes 6!) Belles 'n Whistles stamps plus more goodies) donated by  our wonderful Summer to celebrate the first challenge on the blog!

Sweet Halloween

Hej!

It's only me - Anki here again. As I mentioned yesterday - I'm in love with the Fall colours at the moment :-) So here's a little altered box that I made with the new stamps from the Changeabelles collection. I coloured Kneeling Belle and the pumpkin with my copics. Added lawn and a fantasy "Fall bush" behind Belle. I call this box - Sweet Halloween :-)

DP from SU as well as the ribbon. Sentiment from my sweet friend Kathy. Flowers from stash and the little butterfly is from our local craft shop Pysselakuten.

Here's a pic of the lid.
And here's a pic of the whole box from the side.
Hope you like it!

Tania baking

Happy Monday!
How has your weekend been? Ours have been great!
I attended a local scrapevent in my hometown Vänersborg on Saturday. 79 ladies + 1 guy scrapping between 10-22. That was a lot of fun! And the day started even better - since I on Saturday morning found out that I won the Fall theme challenge in our local scrapstore Pysselakuten with my card featuring the BnW Stamp "Smile" - so I had a gift voucher waiting for me at the scrapevent!!! YEAH! Well - I spent it all of course...hihi.....

The weather has been wonderful as well - sunshine, we've had minu 4-5 C in the morning, the air has been clear and crisp. So I've had a lot of good energy this weekend. We even managed to store all our outdoor furnitures and getting the garden ready for winter.

All this energy and Fall colours have really made me create a lot of cards with the yellow, orange and warm green colours lately. And yes - I have a few more to show you :-)) One of them is with one of my top favourite BnW stamps - "Tania baking".

Coloured her with my copics, DP from SU and added flowers, leaves and Prima flower centers. Looking fwd to hear what you did on your weekend!!

I also hope that you have seen our new BnW Challenge blog - designed by our supertalented Lynda! If not - click on the logo below:

Kramis and have a fab Monday everyone!

It is Friday again and I am back with another card. This time I have used the stamp "Kitty love", one of the "old" Belles n'whistles stamps.I have coloured the image with distress ink, reinkers.

I have used two different pattern papers for my card. The card is as usual decorated with flowers. I decorate most of my cards with flowers. I have added stickles to the flowers. If you take a look down in the right corner you can see a butterfly

I wish you a wonderful weekend

Christmas is not far....

Hello and Happy Thursday dear Belles 'n Whistles friends. Like Kathy yesterday I'm in Christmas mute already and can't wait until I can start decorating my house...LOL. I olove Christmas time it's my favorite time of the year!!! I know first comes Halloween  and then Thanksgiving.... I have to be patient for a few more weeks.
But to reduce the waiting time I'm creating Christmas cards and the card I like to show to you today I made with one of the very versatile stamps from the new ChangeaBelles collection! I used  'Kneeling Belle' and the little doggie stamp.

I stamped Belle onto Cryogen white paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my Copics. DP is from Memory Box - Spice Berry. I also did some sewing with the machine. The big poinsetttia is cut our using a Bosskut die.

Here is a close-up on the image. The swirl stamps in the corners are clear stamps (dunno the brand anymore) which I already bought 2 years ago and these are very nice wintery and christmassy swirls!

Thanks for dropping by today and please remember to enter our Fall Color challenge over at our new challenge blog! We'd love to see all your fabulous creations with our Belles 'n Whistles stamps!!!

Star Light, Star Bright....

Good Morning!!
I hope you are all having a great
week so far. I can't believe it
is half way over so far!!!

Anyways I know the challenge this week
is fall but I am in the Christmas card
making mood so I have one to show you one
I made using the adorable Star of Bethlehem image
from last year's Christmas release.

I just love this sweet image!! (Well you know
I love all of them!LOL)
The image was colored with distress inks and
twinkling h20's. I also colored over
her dress with some Glimmer mist
paint that I got by accident. It is
fabulous stuff!!!   All the lace, flowers
and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Well thanks so much for stopping
by today! I hope to see your fall
colors card for the challenge this week!
It runs for 2 week's now so there
are no excuses!! LOL

Have a lovely day!
:)Kathy

Fairy Play for Halloween

Did you see our new Challenge blog?
You can click on this logo to head on there...
Isn't it awesome!? It was designed by our very own Lynda! :)

I made a card using Fairy Play a few months back but have not shared/posted on this blog yet. With Halloween approaching I thought it would be okay to still post it. :)

She was colored with Copics. Spica Glitter pen for the shimmer in her dress. Silver glitter  on the edge of her wings.  Gold glitter for her wand and on the center of the wand a silver bead. The edge of the oval frame was distressed and stickled.

The card size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used cream cs for the card base and white cs for the oval frame with the image. No 3D foam this time but the butterfly wings were folded up :) For the copper butterfly's colored body... I first sponged a combination of lavender and blue on a piece of scrap cs, then traced the butterfly frame. Cut it out and pasted under the copper frame. I hope I made sense...

Don't forget to stop by our new Belles N Whistles Challenge blog!
We would love to see your FALL BnW cards!
Have a wonderful day!

There Is No Greater Love...

Hello happy bloggers,
I hope all is well with you!!
Today I have the pleasure of creating a sample for the Belles 'n Whistles Blog and I decided to have some fun with the new collection, as well as little Eden with Teddy from the Forever Young release!!

This is the result of an idea that came to me while participating in the Belles 'n Whistles blog hop. Looking around, from project to project, I saw the wonderfully versatile Every Belle, she appears so poised and proud, and well.... doting!!! And then I got an idea!! Why not turn her into a proud mom!?!

I added in a few accesories, the table from the gift and table stamp bundle and the stuffed teddy from the Puppy, doll and teddy stamp pack, and a computer generated sentiment, "There is no greater love than that between a mother and her child." I LOVE little Eden with Teddy, because she, too, could very well be playing pretend with her teddy, taking care of it, just as Belle is looking over little Eden. That is the charm of these adorable Elisabeth Bell creations, they have such cute expressions and heartwarming details.

By placing Eden before the horizon line and popping her up on foam dots, while stamping Belle off to the side, further back and with heavier shadowing, I hope to have achieved decent enough scale to balance out the scene I've attempted with these lovely images. I've coloured with distress inks and my papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle (blue) and Prima (pink), pearls and white flowers are Prima and the leaf punch is ek success.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
hugs,
stephanne
