Make it easy Monday
Happy monday ya´ all! I am sure you enjoyed our blog hop review from last week and hope you were able to try some of the yummy recipes!
Today I want to show you how to make an easy but so cute fall-ish pumpkin basket. I used “Warm Apple Pie” for this because it has the perfect size and also is easy to cut out – not to mention how beautiful this stamp is.
Okay, here we go:
Cut out 10 ovals from orange cardstock any size you like your basket to be. I used Nestabilities but you can go with whatever you have or love to use. Ink up the edges with a darker ink.
Glue together 5 of the ovals as shown. To create an even better look use dimensional tape.
Handcut a stem and glue it to the back of the oval in the middle. If you want to you can add some wire and a leave.
Use some strong glue to stick a celophane bag to the pumpkins.
Decorate as desired. Like I mention did I use “Warm Apple Pie”. Did you see how I used some hand-stitching on her dress? It´s an easy way to add a special look to your image. I didn´t want to use too many embellishments so the pumpkin shape is still easy to see.
Fill the bag with some yummy candies and close it with a nice bow. If you want to you can add a tag like I did.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and will give this cute basket a try. And my question for you today is: what is your favourite treat holder? Feel free to share any links to picutres and the tutorial as well.
Have a wonderful week with many creative ideas!
