A Little Summertime Fun!

Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday! Do you like to go for a swim? I love to swim and be in the water and so is Belle. She thought it is time for some Summertime fun already. This gorgeous stamp is another cutie from the new Belles 'n Whistles release called  Tube Wear and now available HERE. She reminds me so much of my daughter when she was a child. It was almost impossible getting her out of the

I colored Belle using my Copics. The bottom underneath her feet is made out of Ultra Fine Flower Soft 'Raspberry Fizz'. The papers I've used are from Bazzill and Little Yellow Bicycle (Zinnia). Dies and punches used: Martha Stewart Border Punch, Spellbinders Labels 10, Nellie Snellen Oval Multi Frame, Bosskut Daisy Leaves die and Cuttlebug embossing folder circles. The flower is a Trellies Rose from Prima.

Tomorrow's Maundy Thursday already and time for me (as it is a tradition in our family to do this on Maundy Thursday) to color and decorate our Easter eggs. I hope you'll all have a wonderful Easter!

Love and Hugs,

After all the hard work...

If you read yesterday´s post - sure you did and if not you really should! - you know how much cleaning Lynda let Belle do just because she had to work too! Poor little girl is what I thought - and I decided to give her a nice day in her garden today. Well, as you know her, she cares so much for everything and so before she goes to splash around in the pool or sit in a chair to relax she is watering the flowers. "Flowers feed the soul" - this is so true and also Belle knows that. And so she is doing everything to make them grow big and bloom nice.

I hope you have a sunny and relaxing day as well - and if not take the time to look at the flowers and smell their bouquet. As you know - it feeds the soul!

Miss Belle does her Spring Cleaning!

Happy Happy Monday!  Well, maybe it is for some, but Mondays usually mean I am back at work... I would so much rather be home playing in my craft room!  ha ha
Well, I figured if I had to work, then so should Belle!!!  Oh Noooo.... Just kidding, but I just couldn't resist showing a little love to Belle dusting her Coo-Coo Clock!  That poor girl deserves to take a break, don't you think?   First she's Dusting, then Vacuuming, and doing the laundry, oh my, work work work.... when will it ever end?
My card is a simple one really, but I actually made this card with a dear friend in mind.  She is forever sweeping or dusting something.  I think she has a touch of OCD!  I visit with her and while I'm sitting, she's worrying about her floors or wiping something.  She's done it since we were kids, so I'm used to it. I'm always telling her to SIT DOWN, and take a break! So this card is for her!  It couldn't be more perfect!

Many of you should be getting your stamps any day now.  I know that I can't wait to see what you all will create with them.  I really am loving the clear stamps.  I honestly didn't think I would, but they're great!

I'm curious to know how you all like the clear stamps once you get them and start using them!  Please make sure you let us know, we'd love to hear your feedback.

Summer Time, Summer Time...

It's my day to host our blog post for the day and I thought I'd being a bit of sunshine and fun into your day! Don't you just love our new release? I simply am enchanted by them and thought I'd share one of my favorite activities with you - hanging out by the pool!

If you know anything about me, you know I love the sun and fun and these two cuties from Splashing Good Time take me back to some of my favorite times. Can you remember the days when that little wading pool just felt so cool and refreshing on a hot day? I'm not a bit ashamed to say that I used to lay out in the sun smack in the middle of one of those wading pools! One of my good friends thought I was buying the pool for my nephews who used to come over all the time, but I certainly set her straight that it was MY pool, thank you very much! Oh, to be young and have the time to laze around out in the sun.

This cutie is colored with copics and I added some bright yellow Prima Flowers and spacers and pearls at the bottom because yellow flowers just mean hot weather to me. I love the waterfall Stickles and think it gives this water the perfect sparkles. I also added a bit of Stickles to their sweet skin and hair to give them a shimmery, wet effect. Hope it wasn't too much!

And here they are close up! Wouldn't you love to just jump in that pool with them?

Hope you enjoy this cute summery creation. It was so fun to put together and I hope it brings a bit of sunshine into your day! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Card Ingredients:

Splashing Good Times from Belles N' Whistles, copics, June Bug paper pack from BasicGrey, BasicGrey Bling, EK Success wave punch, MS leaf punch, spacers, Stickles, Diamond Glaze, Prima flowers.

Maria Therese

WHEW! Was this not a big giveaway, LOL? This release is truly a special one so the celebration should be festive. The switch from rubber to clear is something to celebrate, the biggest reason being that the Elisabeth Bell designs you all love are still affordable and are still high quality with the genuine photopolymer they are produced from. Staying with red rubber stamps would have meant a price increase this year, from $8.95 to $9.95 and up! My goal at Belles 'n Whistles is to try to keep Elisabeth's wonderful designs obtainable and yet retain the highest quality possible for your crafting enjoyment. ;D

I hope you all enjoy this new release of cuties! Thank you all again for joining us in our challenge and our blog hop...both great successes!

Happy stamping clearly!

Sweet bundle of love - Too cute

Hej ladies!

It's getting closer to the weekend and I can tell you - I'm soo looking fwd to that. Why?
Well - I want more time to colour these new BnW cuties. I think they are so adorable all of them - so it's hard to choose - right? And for those of you that are hesitating just because they are clear stamps - I can only say - that you def. need to try for yourself. My personal experience is that they work perfectly. I received a crisp and clear image every time.

So with that said- over to my card for today - showing Bronzing Beauty. Isn't she a cutie?

Coloured her with my copics and tried to have a clean, but Summer-inspired layout. Therefore the flower DP and the big flower (made with ribbon and nesties) behind her. Sentiment from SU. Oh - and of course - some pearls for the "bling-effect" ;-)
Hope you like her and please - feel free to let us know if you have any questions regarding these new cuties.
Kramis - Anki

The "Where Do They Live?" Challenge!

**This post will remain on top through the release of the newest collection of stamps, Friday March 19. Join in on this challenge for 2 chances at winning the newest set! Scroll down for a few sneak peeks too!**

I'm plum outta ideas for keeping you all occupied until the new release comes next week! I'm tired of teasing with the teeny-tiny sneaks already, though I'll continue because I said I would. But I wanna switch things up a little here. Who all's ready for a special Belles 'n Whistles CHALLENGE?! Here's the deal. Listen close because this is by no means your usual, typical paper craft challenge--ah-ah. I want us to do something different! =)

For this special Belles 'n Whistles challenge, I wanna see all the different places that Belles 'n Whistles stamps reside. Uh huh....I don't want a card or craft project, I want a view! I want to see a glimpse of your craftroom, your home, your village or creative! It's night here so I can't be taking any photos out, but tomorrow morning, I will show you what I mean. I'll post the first photo of the "Where do your Belles 'n Whistles Stamps Live?" challenge (or where do you live?)...then we'll take it from there! I'll put up Mr.Linky after posting my pic so that you all can begin entering. And I'll run this challenge through the release day (next week sometime...perhaps...friday), with one random winner and one specially selected winner being chosen and announced with the new release. These two lucky winners will each receive a new set of the freshest Belles 'n Whistles stamps! ;D

So the details to pay attention to:

1) Show me a view! Where do your Belles 'n Whistles stamps live?

2) Show me a Belles 'n Whistles stamp inside this photographic view.

3) Post your creative pic on your blog, being sure to link back to our Belles 'n Whistles challenge that people don't think you are nuts!

**** Okay! Here's my sample pic for you! My stamps live in Kailua, Hawai'i. We live at the foot of the Ko'olau mountain range so have a pretty nice view, right from the front yard! I wanted to share with you a glimpse of where my stamps live, now I'd love to see a glimpse of where yours live too! As I said, be creative! It could be a glimpse of your craft room or home, or better yet, take your Belles 'n Whistles stamp out into town with you and give us a shot of what life's like in your area!

Two winners will be chose, one drawn randomly, the other by selection--the DT and I will choose our favorite view, be it beautiful or just plain creative!

I hope you'll play along with us! ;D ****

Iris' Belles 'n Whistles stamps live in Cocoa, Florida...
in her beautiful craft room, her lovely patio, and with her fabulous pup, Coco!

Susan's Belles 'n Whistles stamps live in her sunny yard in Florida,
the dog park, and near the cool pool!

Kathrin's Belles 'n Whistles stamps live in Germany! She shares with us her beautiful front door, the 'Kitty Love's of Belle, Belles view from her living room window, in the kitchen AND at a beautiful, nostalgic old school!

Okay! Now on with a teeny, tiny promised!

I know, hardly any view there at all....but I'll show you a clearer view tomorrow!

Join me in this fun and unique challenge! Where DO your Belles 'n Whistles stamps live?!

Let´s have a ride!

Happy tuesday to all of you! Are you as excited as we are about the coming blog hop? Oh, you all will love these cute new images! And I will stop talking about it now or I might reveal some of the secrets we try to keep! ;o)

To make waiting time a little sweeter for you I thought I would share a card that I made last weekend using one of the christmas stamps from last year. I kept it quite simiple, without a lot of embellishments to not overload the card. You see, these christmas images can be used all year long - and Belle still loves her christmas gift. She and her little teddy are riding around for hours and start on a new adventure every day. That´s what little girls´ dreams are made of.

So, let´s see what adventure is coming our way today. Why not sending Belle on a trip around where you live, taking a few photos and share those with us in our "where Belle lives challenge"?

A Little Clearer... here the piece of the image is. A little CLEARER for you! And that's about all I'm gonna give you too, until the official release! I will say though that the stamps for this next release are absolutely fresh and exciting and wonderful--aren't all of Elisabeth's works wonderful though?! ;D

12 new images and 2 opportunities to win an entire set of new stamps! Read the below posting and join in on the Where Do They Live? Challenge!

Be back again tomorrow with perhaps another teeny peek...

Happy Saturday!

A Little Clearer...

Well, not much of a sneak peek I suppose! But really now, I don't want to give EVERYTHING away before we have our fabulous blog hop, LOL! ;D

There are a bunch more images to go through for sneaks....tomorrow will be a new image. And OH GOSH! Speaking of images, Beary Big Hugs and Cupcake are both available in the store again! These popular girls flew off the shelves once released in January and have not been in stock since! Alright, back to the peeks. Did I tell you yet that there's to be a new release soon? Of course I did! I forgot! Did I tell you yet that there are a dozen new images you'll have to fuss and fret over? Ahhhh, don't think I mentioned that yet! So there it is, more news pertaining to the upcoming release, I shared! ;)

Tomorrow, another teeny peek. Tiny one. Very little...

Till then, happy stamping!

Oh Boy...Another Teeny Glimpse!

I will apologize now for the teasing that's going on. It's really not nice to show you just tidbits and snippets of images here and there....but there are many images to share with you before our official Blog Hop! And I can't possibly show you the images in their entirety...what fun would the blog hop be then?! So here I go again...another teeny glimpse!

I've got another cute image hidden under this puzzle, the center piece is slightly transparent for you to almost see the outlines of what's beneath. Almost! Let me tell you, Spring is in the air! You'd never know it, with the weather and temperatures even here in Hawaii being blustery and cold! But this next new collection of Belles 'n Whistles stamps will help bring some Spring to your doorstep, just wait and see!

More to come on the Blog Hop and the rest of the lovely new release images! I'll uncover this middle piece tomorrow for you too! =)

Summer ;)

Are you ready?

Ready for another teaser? Yes? Well then let me show you a little snipet from another super cute, soon to be released new Belles 'n Whistles image wich I already colored in. Hmmmm, well maybe not just yet... Just a few moments longer! :-D
First I like to show you a card I made matching the gift set I made earlier. I already showed you the gift wrap, the tiny basket and the little bag. But I never showed the matching card. So finally here it is and I used Cupcake as my image:

And here's the whole set now, hope you like it:

So but now the wait is over and I'll reveal the little snippet of my image :-) Here it is:

Well can you already guess what it's going to be? Have a hunch? Let us know what you think!!!
And make sure to stop by here frequently for daily sneak peeks!

Have a great day and thanks for visiting our blog today!

Sunshine and apples

Am I longing for Sunshine? Well - those of you that have been reading my blog - know the answer - YES!!! It seems like Spring is far, far away from us here in Sweden - but at least we had a very sunny day yesterday - with blue skies. It was so nice to be able to feel the sun warming my face again.

Well - to warm you up I have coloured this wonderful BnW image - Sunshine and Apples. I just love the feeling I get from looking at this image. Don't you?

Here's a close up of Belle. Coloured the image with my copics (of course ;-)

Also - I hope you are getting ready for the new BnW release coming your way. I can't tell you anything yet - but I can assure you - they are ADORABLE and again - they are a MUST HAVE! So you better stay tuned :-)

It's Sneak-a-Peek Time!

Well! It's finally time to start talking about an exciting new collection of Belles 'n Whistles stamps, coming very soon! It's exciting for more than one reason. Perhaps it's because it covers more than one season. And maybe it's because the designs are so very cute! You'll soon be able to see what my excitement is all about! ;D

Thought I would open the first Sneak-a-Peek puzzle with a little fun...the center piece, which will be revealed fully tomorrow, is somewhat transparent...sorta. You can almost see what the piece is hiding! Check back tomorrow for the piece's reveal, and perhaps another puzzle piece uncovered!

Trip Down Memory Lane with Lil Miss Poppy!

I think it's good to look back sometimes. I wanted to share one of my favorite cards with you from the Belles N' Whistles collection. Have a look at Lil Miss Poppy! She was the first stamp I did from the very first collection and she's still right up there with on my favs list! There's just so much sweetness in her face and I just love how she's clasping her hands. Just too much adorableness here!

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black on GinaK Luxury Paper (gosh, I becoming a paper snob because I love working with her paper!) and colored her with copics. I added a Prima Flower and ribbon to the layers and used my BasicGrey Bling in the top corner and put some stickles on the flowers and used a glaze pen on the ribbon in her hair to make it look like satin. Her basket of flowers are touched with a glitter pen and I love the brad in the middle of the flowers! I thought the paper needed just a tiny bit of dimension so I ran it through my cuttlebug using my dotted swiss folder. All in all, I think adorable comes to mind!

Isn't her face just the cutest? I could just pinch it all over! Speaking of that cuteness, be on the lookout for our sweetest collection ever! Can we say cuteness to the ninth degree here? Yep, we sure can so get ready for some fabulousness coming your way!

I hope you enjoyed my little trip down memory lane with these fabulous stamps! So tell me what's your favorite stamps of all times with our sweet Belles N' Whistles? We love hearing your thoughts! Enjoy!

Card Ingredients:

Lil' Miss Poppy by Belles N' Whistles, Junebug paper and brads by BasicGrey, Stickles, Prima Flowers, Glaze and Glitter pen by Jelly Roll, dotted swiss cuttlebug folder, BasicGrey Bling, copics, nestabilities
